Little did I know when I married Nate that he is a true blue tourist!! He is exhausting!!! We went to San Francisco because I had to work for a few days and then we were going to spend the weekend just hanging out. So I worked for the first 2 1/2 days and then we played!! Nate had a list of things that he wanted to do so we woke up first thing and started to cross things off the list. We went to Lombard street, Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, Biked to the Golden Gate Bridge then over to Salsalitos (?), went to a A's game, toured Alcatraz and Angel Island, Shopped, and rode the trolley cars It was a lot of fun but our feet killed by the end of the trip!!By the time we got to the airport we were both to tired and slept the whole way home!!!

SHE IS A SWIMMER

If you know Nate at all you will know that he loves Maggie more then anything! So he thought that every kid needs a pool in the summer,so he went out and bought her a new pool! Its pretty funny she will jump in and out but only if we give her a treat or if Nate is in it with her! She is a little spoiled!

Lake Powell

Once a year all of Nate's family gets together and goes to Lake Powell. Its called the Jones Trip (Jones is Nate's moms side of the family) The Grandma and Grandpa have a share in a house boat so this allows all 10 kids to come down and bring their families! Lets just say there are a ton a people on this trip! We ended up going down a few days later because I had to work ( Nate hated this) Anyway we took our boat down and drove down with Chelsie and Jesson. It was a fun drive we ended up getting to the lake pretty late and since it was dark and we didn't know where the house boat was we ended up getting a hotel. We stopped by the Marriott, Hampton, Best Western and there was this one that was cinder blocks no windows called the Page Boy.. I said there is no way in hell I am staying there!! Well after we searched for a hotel for awhile they were all sold out except for the Page Boy.. i cant imagine why!! So we ended up crashing there..I didn't sleep at all! Woke up that next morning at 4:30 am to go meet Chirs so he could take us to the House Boat. This was our first trip to Lake Powell with our new boat so it was a new experience for us.. It was really nice to have cus it gave us our own room, we slept on our boat and it was perfect. Nates uncle has a X-45 so that was pretty cool to go behind.. the best was surfing we would go out at 11pm and surf in the dark with the radio blasting and the lights off his tower so you could kinda see.. till you fell then it was pitch black.. kinda creepy, but really fun!!

Mags didn't come on this trip it was a little too hot for her!!

WE BOUGHT A BOAT

We were suppose to be going to Lake Powell for Memorial Day with some of Nate's family so I was all excited cus Nate and I love Lake Powell!! Well this trip pushed me over the edge. We were going then we were not going and it went back and fourth for a few days till finally I was sitting at work called Nate and said.. We are buying a boat!!! We both hate having to depend on other people to do what we love, so we went out and bought a boat!! I found it on KSL and we bought it from a guy that took great care if it. After we officially owned the boat we went to pick it up and Nate was getting the run through well he needed Nate to get up in the boat so he asked Nate to take off his shoes and jump on in! He didnt want Nate getting in the boat with his shoes on. He was pretty particular about his boat and was a great buy to buy our first boat from. He bought a new battery, filled it up with gas, then the heater was broke (which was a 900.00 fix) he paid for it to get fixed and Nate installed it. We have loved it, we go to Utah lake quite a bit cus its 10 min away from our house. We have been to Lake Powell, Electric Lake ( Super COLD) we are planning on going to Yuba, Bear Lake and Bullfrog. Maggie also loves the boat.. since we own our own boat we can do what we want with it so every time the boat goes out Maggie comes along. We got her a life jacket so she is a good little swimmer!! She hangs out and when she gets hot she goes for a swim! It has been really fun and I am sure will be a long time tradition for the new Harward family!!! However we have learned the new defination of BOAT- Bring On Another Thousand!!!!! There is no joke to that!!!

Lake Powell - Memorial Day

Nates family has a house boat in Lake Powell so when no one is using it we can go down and use it. So for Memorial Day weekend we went to Lake Powell with his Uncle's family. It was freezing to say the least! I love the water and wakeboarding but there was no way I was getting in that water! Nate got in a couple times but when he got out he was frozen!!! It was still a fun trip but we would prefer to go to Lake Powell when its a little warmer!

SAN DIEGO!!!

Last year I went to San Diego for work and decided to have Nate come along. While we were there they were having the Red Bull Air Races over the Bay. Were were staying at the Hyatt which is right at the bay. So while I worked Nate went to watch the races and loved it. So this year for his birthday I decided to get us tickets to San Diego to see the Air Races. We ended up flying in a day early so that I could work and then the rest of the time it was ours to do what we wanted!! We went the 30th of April to 4th of May. We had so much fun we went to Disneyland (not that fun when your 24 yrs old!) we went to the beach, a Michael Buble concert, a baseball game, the races and just hung out. We stayed at the Marriott Coronado, it was awesome. When we would go down to have breakfast we would see a bunch of the pilots cus they were staying at our hotel. The races were on Friday and Sat we found a perfect spot right on the beach and camped out all day. They have a big Navy presentation, sky divers, Navy Seals jump from a plane, and then they start the races. It was a great trip and we will be back next year for sure!!!
