Award Banquet.. Moms Going to Kill all of us!!

My Mom and Dad loves their horses.. sometimes more then their kids and that was the case at the NRHA awards banquet!!! ha ha jk mom... My mom did awesome this year showing her horse, so good in fact that at the year end awards she won a Saddle (which for those of you that don't know is pretty dang good!) Well we all wanted to surprise her and not tell her that we were coming so we got my dad in on it he got us the tickets (which I still haven't paid for.. sorry dad!!) and we drove up Ogden Canyon to the Timberlodge restaurant. Jason and Kassy rode with Nate and I and that was so funny we laughed the whole way up about Nate's memories about Ogden!! ha ha Anyway then Kolbi and Ryan met us up there. The thing is before the banquet I think my mom told me that she was getting an award at least 10 times.. "you know I have that thing on Saturday I am getting a saddle" I would just say oh ya that's cool I think Nate and I are going to a movie with Kass and Jay... But little did she know we were all going to be there! But it was pretty obvious when we got there. They were sitting on a table by themselves and Dad had saved all the chairs! But it was still a surprise! They started with a raffle, which by the way we didn't win, then went on to dinner then the awards.. We were laughing and by far the loudest table there! My mom was in the Rockstar Mode and was getting a little annoyed with us but what can you expect with all of us together! It was great though 3 hours later she got her saddle and loved every minute of it! My mom and Dad love the horses and it was great to see them succeed in what they love to do!! It was also fun to be with my sisters and their husbands we have so much fun together and laugh so hard our stomachs hurt!!! Little inside joke...Where is my buckle, who has my buckle, Jason give me back my buckle!! ha ha ha ha so funny!!

Hey Honey Did You Come and Get Suzie???

Well Saturday morning (Nov 1) Nate gets up and goes to the gym with his little brother. Pretty typical Saturday. My family was in town because my mom had an award banquet for her horse show. I get up start to get ready when Nate calls me from his little brothers phone and asks hey honey did you come and get Suzie (which is Nate's white cars name) I of course said NO way I hate that car.. Why I ask well she is gone!! ha ha YEP THAT'S RIGHT OUR CAR GOT STOLEN!!!!!! Who in the heck gets their car stolen.. that would be my husband!! He is so funny he didt get mad he just kinda laughed! We didn't care much about the car being gone but we did care about the stuff in it! The main thing Nate was upset about was the 500.00 Cash in his wallet and his tools! The list is long so I will give you an idea.....

• Wallet with 500.00 cash, and about 300.00 in gift cards
• Dewalt tool kit (800.00)
• Camera bag with camera, chargers, and extra lens.(700.00)
• Phone
• Ipod
• 150 Cd's
• Nate's favorite pants and shoes
• Sunglasses
• And most importantly Nate's Subway card with a free sandwich on it!! Damn them!! (quoting Nate!)

We did get the car back on Monday night. They found it in the Sizzler parking lot, window down cigarettes in it, burger king, sunglasses and a lipstick case. However the good news is they did fill it up with gas.. With our money!!! The car was in good condition other then it smelled like Butt and I refuse to drive it! That's just creepy! But Detective Harward is on the case and he is determined to find these little SH#*$!!(again quoting Nate!) Hopefully we can get some of our money back from the insurance but from what we hear they are not very easy to deal with!!! Keep your fingers crossed!!!

Halloween/Maggie's Brithday Party

Since we got Maggie 2 years ago we plan a Birthday/ Halloween Party. Maggie's birthday is on Oct 22. So it is perfect for the Halloween party season.This year we spiced it up and had everyone dress up and sang Karoke. It was a blast we love having everyone together at our house! We had such a fun night with everyone and thank you all for coming.

I dont know how I married a guy that loves to jump out of planes, paraglide, cliff jump and whatever else there is that is insane, because all of that stuff scares the crap out of me.. but hey its a good balance.. I just stay on the ground praying that he will land safe and sound! And so far so good. We live at the point of the mountain so every morning when you wake up you can see all the paragliding flying around. So that put an idea in Nates head that that is what he wants to do. So for his birthday I got him a gift certificate to go flying with an instructor. Well it didn't end there he wanted his brothers to come with him so for Trevors graduation gift we got him a gift cert and then they wanted to wait for Howie to be able to come so when he got home in Sept we got him a gift cert as well. Trevor and his mom pitch in as well as a welcome home gift. So the 3 brothers were finally together and ready for some fun. Well they got up there and found out they were on the wrong side of the mountain so after a bit of driving around and trying to get a hold of the instructor we were in the right place but the wrong time! The wind had calmed down so Nate and Trev got to go out for about 10 min but then they landed and the wind stopped! But dont worry they get to go again. And hopefully they will all get to go on a longer ride then 10 min!

We have decided that we need to have general conference more often. Its so nice to wake up and go to church in your sweats! We watched the first session and then DVRed the second session so that we could go up Provo Canyon and take some pictures. Maggie loves her adventures with her family and Nate loves to take her. She has been quite the explorer lately and one heck of a swimmer!! It was so fun to walk up to bridal veil falls and see all of the fall colors! We hiked around for a bit then headed home to finish conference and have Sunday dinner.. for the record I made my first Turkey dinner.. I will have to say it was pretty good!

With my work I travel quite a bit to visit clients and or go conferences. Sometimes I will go by myself but sometimes Nate will come with me. It always depends on where I am going if its cool he comes and if not he stays home with Maggie. I had a conference in Orlando so this time he wanted to come so did his little brother Trevor or JimBZ as we call him. We flew out on Saturday the 13th of Sept and as we were getting on a plane to fly out we had a new nephew coming in. Nates sister was expecting a little boy but didn't think he would come for a few more days but little did they know baby tank was ready to come so while we were in Florida baby tank arrived! He is so cute and we love him so much! We flew in 2 days early so we could spend some time on the beach in Daytona. It was awesome. We parsailed I went 1000 feet of line with Nate and then he went again with Trevor 2000 feet of line because 1000 just wasn't high enough for the 2 of them. We all saw sharks and Nate and Trev saw Dolphins, sharks and mantirays. It was so scary but so fun! Our hotel was right on the beach so we would wake up have breakfast and then hit the beach. We all wished we had more time in Daytona cus it was a blast.. minus all the sharks! Monday we drove to Orlando got settled at our hotel the Villas of Grand Cypress and went to eat. Tuesday Nate and Trevor went to the Orlando cable park to have some wake board lessons and ride the cables. I had to work so I worked while they played! after work went over to see how they were doing! that night I had dinner with some clients got home late and to my surprise the boys wanted to go on the sky coaster at like 11pm I was so tired and wanted to kill the both of them! They went up 300 feet and dropped and then of course when they were done wanted to do it again so they did! On Wednesday I had to work most of that day till about 3 then I got home Nate wanted to go to a water park but I was waiting to meet with a client and couldn't get wet so I said lets go to Universal so if I have to leave early to 2 can stay and play. That was the biggest mistake of the trip. We went to get tickets and Nate had a great idea to get a 2 day pass incase they wanted to go back.. 255.00 later we were in Universal rode about 3 rides then we all got sick and so hot and wanted to go home so for an hour and a half we spent 255.00 on tickets! I was sick not physically but just because of the money we waisted! It also screwed up the plans later on in the trip! That next day I went to work in the morning and then we went to Sea World that afternoon. We all loved Sea World we rode Atlantis, and Krackn., and watched the shamu show. Nate was the travel guide and in charge of the map he had us running from one place to another! On Friday we hung out by the pool, tried out the boats, nate and Trev went golfing and I went shopping. Saturday was the day we were going home. Nate and Trev were going to go to the wake board park 1 last time and I was going to go shopping it was perfect! We got all ready pulled up to the park and come to find out there was a pro competition going on so they couldn't ride. So it was all messed up now! We went back to the hotel, got packed up and it took us forever to figure out what we were going to do till our flight left. We ended going back to Sea World to see another Shamu show and then going and watching the guys at the cable park. After the pros were done Trev wanted to go and show them what he has so he went out there we were getting close to having to leave for the airport and I kept telling Nate he we need to go.. he would say oh its alright we have plenty of time! Well lets just say we ended up running though the airport, barley made our plane and when we got to SLC Nate's and Trev's bags were still in Orlando for Late check in! It was a great trip the only thing that could have been better is if Mags could have some we missed her so bad! We had tons of fun got a lot of sun but by the end of 7 days we were all ready to come home!
