Kamas Cabin

Since Nate got a new snowmobile this year we take every opportunity to go snowmobiling!! Every once in a while the Harwards get invited up to the Tilltson cabin. We love to go it is such a nice cabin with great snowmobiling! Nate ended up not bringing his own snowmobile because at the cabin they have about 9 Ski Doo, and Nate wanted to try them out. They were all low on oil and gas so Nate fixed them all up and off we went. Every once in a while we will ride together but its pretty hard to maneuver, so I would ride my own and when I got stuck Nate would come and bail me out!!!

Yellowstone Feb 21-24 2008

I got a call one day from Nate telling me that he and Uncle Chris have planned another snowmobiling trip!! I was about to freak when he said oh and you get to come this time!!! They both knew that if they planned another trip with out their wives they were going to be going home to each other at night!!!! So a few days later we jumped in Jeep and off we went. Nates little brother ended up riding up with us and everyone else rode up with Chris and Sue. We got there around midnight pulled into the parking lot to unload everything and the second that you got out of the car it was freezing!!! So as we are getting the snowmobiles and food unloaded Chris asked Nate how far away the cabin was.. Nate said Oh about 100-200 yards!! Ya Right so I piped in and said no way its at least a mile maybe more.. When everything was in the cabin safe and sound everyone came to an agreement that Nate was totally off it was defiantly closer to a mile! That next morning we hung around the cabin for a bit then Chris, Trev, Nate and I all decided to go on a ride up to two top. It was a super bumpy ride and once we got to the top there were hundreds of acres of completely tracked snow!! There wasn't an inch of snow that hadn't been touched so we rode around for a bit and headed back on the bumpy road. When we all came to realize that the snow wasn't that good Nate and Trevor saw that there was some cross country skis and a sled that they could play with and jump off the roof with.. so that's what they did. Lets just say I didn't marry Nate for is gracefulness on cross country skis! It was pretty funny to watch then I thought hey that looks easy I will check it out.. Well come to find out we both are not made to cross country ski! Even though the snow was bad we found other ways to be entertained, we played the WII, Dominos and ate more then we should have! Our trip ended on Sunday and of course the day that you cant do anything it snowed the night before and there was perfect snow as we were loading everything back into the trucks!! That's how it always goes!!!

HONEYMOON!!!

Nate and I went to Las Vegas on our honeymoon. We stayed at the Red Rock Hotel and loved it! We Drove into town the Tuesday after our wedding it was about 60 degrees and we were so excited. We checked into our hotel and went and found something to eat. The next day we woke up and it was is freezing dang it! We went shopping, walked around and just relaxed it was so nice! On Thursday morning I woke up and wast feeling too well so we hung out for a bit but then we wanted to go and see the Tigers at the Mirage. Still cold we went and walked through the tigers they were really cool. Later that night we went to eat at Emeril's Del Monico's restaurant...it was really good. We were sitting there and then all of the sudden here comes Emeril walking out of the kitchen to talk to Mario Batali. We got a signed cookbook from Emeril and it made my day! After dinner we went to see La Reve at the Wynn.. it was fantastic!!! I ended up not feeling well again and we ended up leaving that next morning a day early so that I could go home and hopefully start to get better! I swear something like that always happens on our honeymoon!!! But we still had a ton of fun and it ended up taking me over a week to feel better.

MARRIED LIFE

I am new to this whole blog thing, but I figured that since I don't like writing in a journal and I sit at a desk all day this would be a good way to keep track of whats going on! Plus most of my family and friends are out of state so this will help keep us all together! Nate and I got married on January14, 2008. We met in High school our sophomore year, and started dating not too long after that and 8 years later we are finally married. It was a long road to this point but we finally did it and love married life. It hasn't been much of an adjustment other then we are now on a permanent sleepover! I have to say that I did sleep better when he wasn't around but I would trade having him over a king size bed to myself any day (he wouldn't say the same!!). One thing that I would suggest to any newly wed couple is that if your husband just bought a new snowmobile don't get married in the winter! Oh and make sure he has a job!! ha ha When we decided to get married we did the whole ring thing for me and when it was time for Nate's ring he told me I wasn't getting off that easy and only spending 200.00 on his ring he wants one that has a motor and he can ride. So I got the ring of my dreams and he got a snowmobile. Her name is Molly and lets just say Molly saw more of my husband then I did the first month of our marriage. To add to that Nate is in the construction business and since the market is the way that it is everything slowed way down around the time that we got married. So lucky for him he now didn't have any work and a brand new snowmobile so he and his Uncle Chris (which was in the same situation as Nate) went snowmobiling at least a couple times a week. He loved it! Me on the other hand I wasnt such a fan!! But I got over it and we went a few times together and it was a blast! Now that winter is almost over Molly is put away and Nate is back to work, thank goodness! We live in Lehi in a little town home and have the cutest little girl! She is about 1 1/2 years old, she is about a foot tall, super furry, 4 legs, huge ears, and is now weighing in at 40lbs and her name is Maggie! She is a Welsh corgi that we love to death!! Nate is literally obsessed! We drive her up to Nate's mom's everyday so that she can hang out with Grandma and uncle Jim. I work pretty close so it isn't that bad of a drive. But things are going great. I have a great job that I love and have been at for now for 2 years. It is close to home and I love the people I work for and with so that makes it nice. Nate just applied for school this summer so I will have to keep everyone posted on how that goes and what we hear back!!!
